Hey,

I've got a stupid problem right now. A couple of minutes ago I signed in to Skype with no problems (I thought). Apparently I couldn't interact with the Skype servers at all!

Every action either ended in a time out or not being finished at all. So I thought that by restarting Skype the problem would have been solved. But no, Skype decided to label me as 'online' and will not allow me to log back in. The login screen is saying that it is 'signing in' for about 10 minutes now. I've already tried to restart Skype several times but nothing helps.

There is internet activity but I can't notice anything on the Skype client. Also I'm getting notifications from Windows 7 Ultimate that Skype has stopped responding.

Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Restart your router. Mine works fine.

If that fails, resintstall Skype.

Hmm something says that I better restart my computer. I have 10 Skype.exe running which I can't force to close.

It's already been solved! Apparently Skype failed at closing the client. I had 10 Skype.exe instances running in the background. It is working now!
