What is a good cheep 720p HD camera?

I know this is related/duplicate to this (http://lockergnome.net/questions/55124/i-want-a-low-priced-720p-hd-video-camera) but I have a little different question. I want to buy a good, not so expensive 720p HD camera. From what I've seen, camcorders are good for their price, but can I stand the camcorder on top of something so it will stay? I don't really know how it would work for stationary stuff since it does not have a tripod...

It's not half bad and it's 1080 and 720 @ 60FPS.
