What do you look for in a database to handle infomation?

Questionaire for School..

1.Do you prefer a software database or a Excel Database (Bearing in mind you need excel to view it where as software you don't)

2.What sort of things do you look for such as "Easy Layout, Easy UI, Graphical Database (Skinned) or just a simple one"

3.Would you prefer a database where you could enter your own information and keep it secure of a set database for something specific for example "Money, Bank Accounts"

Last One: Would you prefer it to be able to automatically calculate the total/best outcome for your chosen choice like if i had ATI Radeon 5570 and a ATI Radeon 4670 it would get you to input your specs and choose the best one to suit your system

i guess i dont know what your asking, Excel is not a database program, it is at best a list, and you can view it in other programs.

Every program should have an easy to follow UI.

i dont get what you are asking for in #3

and for the last one any database can do that if you program it to...
