Do you mean how many trips a person takes? If so then Patxi is spot on. If you mean the total number of miles or km a person travels, that is nearly impossible to track. Please elaborate.

A combination of GPS, a FitBit, and frequent flyer miles could get you close to the total distance traveled in a lifetime. Better question is why you'd care?
