I have Windows 7 in bootcamp on my Mac and whenever I start it it always mutes the sound! Can I stop it from doing this?

Does anyone else have this issue?

Well, I'm not familiar with Bootcamp, but I know Windows resumes the volume on its previous level after a restart, so for example if you have the volume at 35% when you turn it off, it will be at 35% when you turn it back on. Are you possibly muting it at some point before shutting down Windows?

Nope. It mutes every single time I start up I get no chime and I have to go to volume and unmute before I can have volume.

Maybe if you reinstall the Drivers that read your Mac Hardware it might solve t out. To do it insert the Mac OS X Install Disc and clic repair. If that doesn't solve it than your doomed xD

It's an issue with the Windows install not the Mac OS X drivers.
