I really love listening to music, but I hate the quality that in-ear headphones give, and I don't want to pay a lot of money for in-ear headphones, because they would be too easy to break/lose.
So what over-the-head headphones give the best sound quality, and comfort, for (Preferably) under $250?

I believe that the best you can buy are the Logitech G35 7.1 surround sound headphones my friend has a pair and I have tried them they are awesome especially for gaming and I am getting a pair soon and you can typically get them for $100-$130.

i like the logitech G35 about $120 has a good mic on it that can be moved up and out of the way when not in use or muted. has voice morphing a few preset ones. USB connection. good build quality won break from falling of the desk like my last one did. volume control on the headset not on the cord

Though these are cheaper than what everyone else has been suggesting, I really like the Roland RH-5 monitors. I do a lot of live sound work and these are incredible. I like that they're cheap enough that I can throw them in a gig bag and not worry about having to pay hundreds to get new ones if they break. Spec wise, they're great headphones. Good frequency response and pretty nice drivers. And they're incredibly comfortable -- I can wear them for hours. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/672901-REG/Roland_RH_5_RH_5_Around_Ear_Stereo_Headphones.html
