Rooting HTC Desire (UK)

I have an Orange Branded HTC Desire which I would like to root.

The issue I have is that orange have installed all their demoware, which I want to get rid of.

I have HBOOT 0.93.0001 with Froyo 2.2 installed.

Does anyone know of a way, and can you provide a link.

Also, If it is possible, will I be able to use an image that does not contain HTC Sense, only the default Froyo menu system.
