LCD monitors are nice on the outisde, but sometimes display looks awful if you aren't watching from the correct angle. I think OLED is actually better, but when it comes to a nice, good quality display, CRT is better than LCD, IMO.

LCD for slim, CRT for quickness. I herd LCD backlit could burn out.

In my opinion LCD is better by leaps and bounds. CRT monitors tend to bother one's eyes. And also have some security risks via the "van eck phreaking". Not to mention that CRT monitors are extremely bulky.

I tend to personally like the colors that a CRT has to offer. LCDs are limited from darker colors because of the backlights. I am going to be a happy man when OLEDs hit mainstream.

LCD, its hard to find a CRT these days anymore anyways

I like LCD because they do not burn in (supposedly, yet i have seen that it does) but perhaps the biggest thing is that they are smaller.

LCD. With LCD's you don't have to worry about the refresh rate and they don't hurt your eyes as much as the CRT's did. CRT's were very fat but ok. LCD's are so skinny and awesome.

Could that possibly to do with the price tag or is it the range of sizes available or is it that you don't feel the need to shell out for a new tv. just out of interest

please reply thank you.

CRT's are too big for me, so I use LCD's. But CRT's aren't bad to use... Now if only there was a way they were smaller

LCD, but the best of all is OLED. CRT's kill your eyes because of the refresh rates.
