I am starting to do animation projects for fun and education. I would like to know any opensource programs that I can easily create meshes in and then put into blender. thanks in advance!!

PS. If I could get a video on how to bring in the mesh that'd be cool to. Thanks!!!

With a little work you can create meshes in Blender.

You could always use a simple program like Google Sketch Up, and then bring the mesh into Blender. I take Visual Media 10, and this always seems to be the best option for me.
