Question for Dual Booters?

How would you dual boot Ubuntu and Windows 7 without any errors? Would you just install it side by side with the Ubuntu installer, or do you do it a different way way, thanks!

1st tip: install windows first, then ubuntu (needs grub menu to boot to both)

The last time I tried that, it came up with an error each time I booted into Windows 7, it would make me check the disk. Do you know how to fix that?

Windows will want to check the disk after installing ubuntu. Just let it do its thing. My ubuntu youtube channel has videos on dual booting Windows 7 & Ubuntu. Check it out. Youtube.con/thejoesteiger

You could try Sun's Virtualbox and install Ubuntu into a virtual machine. Then instead of dual boot, you could have linux running within your windows install.

I think he wants to Dual Boot and by the way Virtualbox is now owned by oracle.
