Alright, I've been using Norton for the past 6 months. Then, I've got some buddies saying that it's no good.. So now I don't have any Anti-Virus programs running on my computer. So, what Anti-Virus do Geeks recommend??

I recommend avast! Antivirus, Kaspersky or Trend depending on your flavour. Some people like antivirus software that is fast but doesn't detect near as much as the thorough ones (Kaspersky is thorough).
For the geeks who are interested, I recommend learning how to set up underprivileged user accounts within your OS and keeping your OS up-to-date. Ideally this would be the way everyones machine is set up. It is unfortunate that not everyone knows how to secure their PC without the help of antivirus software.

Avast, Kaspersky, and ESET NOD32 right now I am using Avast, it seems to be doing a decent job, and Geeks do use Anti-Viruses, saying geeks dont use them, thats like saying a car thief leaves his doors unlocked and keys in the car...

For me, I use avast but I have it's startup items disabled, it still works just fine, I just have to manually run the updater and scan files by either launching the or right clicking a file or drive and scanning it.
I use it as a on demand scanner so I get the benefits of the virus scanner, with out the performance loss.
PS when scanning multiple hard drives, it is better to do it from the right click menu because the scan goes faster. with most scanners, if you run a scan from the scanners GUI, it will scan each drive 1 by 1, but if you right click on your drives, and scan that way, you can scan multiple hard drives at the same time. (I generally do all 3 of my hard drives at the same time, and it doesn't slow the scan for the other drives because the CPU is more than fast enough to handle the scan engine)
