I have a machine running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and i get about 25-35 FPS playing MW2. Does anyone know if install XP 64 bit will this give better frame rates?

Actually, the OS shouldn't have anything to do with frame rates.

This all depends on your video card, and the refresh rate of your monitor(s).

Windows 7 is better optimized for games so you should get more FPS in 7 that you would in XP.

Lets not take a step back here. XP is over a decade old, let's keep with the times and use 7, it's great!

I don't think there was much difference with CoD4 when I moved from Vista to 7. Same hardware anyways.

Well, of course there was a difference as my Vista was so cluttered, but nothing significant. I hope you understand my point. :D
