Are you experiencing lag on the Youtube App on the iPad?

I have a 16Gb model of the iPad and I've tried using the Youtube App and I feel like I've been experiencing lag on it. I don't seem to have the same problems on it when I browse Youtube on the iPad's web browser. Is any one else having the same issue or is it just my hardware and/or maybe needs a firmware update?

I don't think it is the app itself but actually the iPad because when the iPad was first released it was experiencing wifi issues

Actually I've experienced those wifi issues and fixed it by applying different settings to it. Instead of using the old security settings WEP, I changed it to WPA (newer security settings) and that improved my connection exponentially. However, I'm still experiencing the problem stated above even with better connectivity.

I have alot of troubling using the YouTube app on my iPod Touch. The videos load very slowly. It may be an inherent issue with the YouTube app on the iDevices. I hope it will be optimized in iPhone OS 4.0.

By the way, I am using the most recent firmware for the iPod Touch, 3.1.3.
