Just buy some ram. It's not that expensive and it's easy to install. What's the exact model of your machine, someone here could easily tell you what to buy. A program like RAM Booster is if you run and close a lot of applications, it works by closing unused processes so your computer runs more efficiently. If you run AutoCAD and your system slows down, RAM Booster will not improve that situation because it's designed to help optimize free RAM - since AutoCAD alone is consuming a lot of RAM, you will find little or no benefit from such tricks. |

Boosting your memory will give you much greater benefit. AutoCAD needs a good deal of resources, and purchasing 4+gb of memory for most modern systems is rather light on the wallet. |

A lot of new computers come with 4 gb of RAM installed if you are using programs like Autocad it would be a good idea to buy at least another stick of RAM. I've bought RAM of EBAY before for reasonable prices, you just need to make sure you get the right sort for your PC. |
