alternative webcam for Samsung HDTV 7700?

I own a Samsung UE 40C7700 HDTV and I want to use it with Skype. However, there is only only webcam, sold by Skype for $150, that works with this TVs. Do you know of a way to use existing cheaper-webcam with these Samsung Internet TVs?
