Is there a way to have Firefox warn if you close the browser when a download is in progress? I have broken many downloads because I forget a file is downloading and I Quit the browser. I thought this was an option in the Preferences, but I cannot find anything to set this option.

Thank you! This should be a checkbox option in Firefox's preferences!
