I'm a YouTuber so this question will help me make my videos better. I want to know in average how much do you watch of a video or do you watch all the way or if you skip some parts.. Maybe this can make my videos a bit more interesting..

I watch all videos until the end. Everything can happen at the end of videos so why leave before the end ? It's like going at the movies and leaving at the middle of the film.

i mostly watch vids to the end. if you want to get people to watch the whole vid put bloopers or something that would entertain your viewers.

Depends on the YouTuber. For example, I watch Ray William Johnson's videos to the end because I like to see the responses to the comment question of the day. But when I watch Phillip DeFranco's videos, I can stop them after the last news story. I know the rest is fluff and links. I usually watch Chris Pirillo's and Lamar Wilson's up until the closing. I already know how to reach Chris so I don't need to watch it every time.

It depends. If I am watching a video from a youtuber of who I know has always the same ending than I stop watching it. If not and the video interests me than I will keep watching it until the end.

I watch people like nutnfancy and hickock45 & LinusTechTips even when they make 35 - 40 min videos though I may only watch that one in an evening. I like long videos from any interesting content producer as long as the content is good and the speaker is interesting. I may then replace my regular TV with YouTube content if the content is good enough. Don't get sucked into always jump cutting, it can look nasty.

I make my assumptions about video content in the first 20 seconds. But have youtube comments off for obvious reasons.

But length is up to your discretion. You have to watch the edit and if you think you would sit for 5 minutes watching the video then most likely everyone else will.

Just try not to be boring and animate yourself a bit, don't be too wooden, try standing and above all try to be clear in delivery. The viewer may not have all the time in the world and is not going to want to waste it.

I always "listen" to a video to the end. I usually don't watch youtube vids - I just listen while I'm working.

I like watching videos till the end, but sometimes videos stop being interesting and I just leave. I would suggest like putting bloopers or something similar in the end of the video so people stay until the end.
