No. Myspace is not dead and it will not be . Myspace is a preferred to create a page for yourself or a band or an organization , you can change backgrounds, fonts and widgets that you don't have in other social networks... What i would say is Hi5 is dead

Myspace recently laid off a lot of staff.

This could be why you perceive it's dying...

Many music groups try to promote their music on Myspace, this is one reason why this website is still used a lot by many.

Will it die? The answer would be purely speculative in any form that it was given unless it was the President or Vice President him/her self writing the answer.
