This one looks pretty solid in my opinion. DELL Inspiron M5030 (iM5030-2792B3D) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834200058

My price range is $600. All laptops noted have an integrated 4200 series (I only plan on using source games at the most). I think the DELL Inspiron M5030 (iM5030-2792B3D)is a better deal because the specifications are almost the same as others and it's $150 + free shipping which much cheaper than my limit. But the downside is that it has an ugly texture as some noted. I also heard its full of bloatware, which I would remove anyways if I had not already reformated the hard drive. But in specifications wise the HP one has a 7200rpm hard drive yet it has a slower processor. I am not sure if 7200rpm makes a huge difference in laptop terms.
Right now I am not concerned with the support of each company due to recent experiences with other companys. If I can't figure the problem out, I doubt the support can either and is not worth the time.
My question is, should I go an extra $100 and buy the HP laptop? Or should stick with the DELL?
BONUS: If I get the DELL, what improvisations can I make to the design and how?
As you can see it isn't very appealing in my opinion
If you can, can you name a laptop that costs more than 600 but is a better deal?
