Facebook is killing more than just blogging, it is killing forums too..

1) Because people spend A LOT of time on Facebook, and because many people have a life, they don't get on the internet much, so what time they do have, they tend to spend on Facebook / MySpace / etc..

2) Facebook allows you to prevent trolls, and YOU are the forum moderator..

3) You get to like keep your blog private, so only your friends can read it...

There are a lot of reasons why I'd say it is, but that doesn't mean I am correct...

No different kinds of site, many people still have a blog because they can and want one, so blogs will be around for a while.

What good is a blog if nobody reads it? (No Time)

Do you see what I mean?

A blog can be very good for a person, even if no one reads it! I mean, I have a blog (I think the link is on my profile page if you want to check it out :P), and even though I've only had around 100 pageviews since I started about 2 months ago, I still update it. It's just a way to reach into my mind, and kind of document what kind of day I was having, what's important in my life at that moment, etc. etc.

It's also pretty neat to look back and see how you changed over the course of your blog. Not just in writing style, but in attitude, personality, likes and dislikes, and that sort of thing.

So blogs can be very neat and fun things to have, even if no one reads them. In my opinion at least!

I think yes, because many people want to share their feeling's & facebook (& others) is the best medium.
