Pretty simple. Just wondering what your preferred smartphone OS is, and the phone you currently own.

Personally, I prefer Android, and have an HTC Desire HD.

I had an android phone for a while and thought it was a piece of crap. It was buggy, crashed a lot, didn't properly close apps and even when I did close them, it relaunched apps that I didn't want it to launch on the boot of the phone. I stop short of saying Android is pure crap, but I wasn't impressed. Let's say Android has potential, but I'm not sure I'd buy another Android device just now.

Now, I don't have an iPhone, but I have an iPod Touch and I've used the iPad. Very impressive. I really like the interface.

My current phone is a blackberry by Nokia, and I am happy that it doesn't have a touchscreen. It's simple but I like it. My android phone was always doing stuff when it touched my cheek. Annoying as hell.

Previously I owned a phone with Windows Mobile and another with the Palm OS. Both were actually the same model phone, but I think I actually liked Windows Mobile better than the Palm OS. Note that I am not referring to the current Windows Phone operating system.

I could swear that Blackberries are made by RIM, not Nokia. ;)

Also, what Android device did you have that you had so many issues with? I have a G2 can definitely say that it works flawlessly in most cases.

I haven't had many problems with my Desire HD. It lags a little when multiple apps are installing, and I didn't like the default browser and music app, but that was easily fixed with two quick searches in the Android Market.

RIM makes an operating system that they license to phone manufacturers, like Nokia.

My Android phone was a Samsung Moment, which we took to Sprint to update twice to get the latest Android on it. I think most recently it had Android 2.2 on it.

Went from a Tracfone to the iPhone, I like the system it runs on, no issues aside from that it cannot do flash. (Which some say would run slow and be useless anyway)

Blackberry for me. I have a beta version of OS 6 on my Bold 2 and it's the best thing ever. I hate touchscreen phones.

Android most definitely. iOS is just too simple and WP7 isn't quite there yet. I have the LG Optimus V
