Hey, I've been looking at the specs of the new MacBook Pro line and one thing that caught my eye was that Apple is using Intel HD 3000 graphcis card. My experience with an Intel GPU is that it's the same as having no GPU/a really bad GPU. In my previous laptop (HP) I had an Intel HD 3200 GMA graphics card and it was a pure waste of money ($500). It was lagging with a simple CD sized (700MB) movie file. Do you think that Apple's choice of using Intel GPU's is any good? And will you buy the 13Inch model of the MacBook Pro? |

For me personally, it isn't nearly powerful enough. But for Apple's target demographic (the average user) the new 13 inch Macbook Pro is just fine. We're talking about people who don't even know what a graphics card is, let alone an Intel HD 3000. Yes, it's a low end GPU, but it will do fine for almost everything short of gaming and heavy graphics editing. If you're the average user, or a student, it should be just fine, a nice compromise on Apple's part is the battery; the thing lasts forever! And no, I will not be getting it. I had the previous iteration of the Macbook Pro 15 inch but found it way too underpowered and went back to my PC desktop. Honestly, I'd rather have a beefy high spec Alienware laptop for the same price rather than the shiny Macbook Pro. I do love that multi-touch glass trackpad however, whoever designed that should be given a medal. But this comes from someone who really doesn't like laptops so take what you will from it. |

Yes, although it really depends on what you'll be using it for. |

The GeekBench scores are nearly double of my two year old iMac. You will not be disappointed if you buy this product. |
