I've been writing on blogs for awhile now but still can't figure one thing out, search engine optimization. How do you go about optimizing your blog? I've googled it but I find a lot of scammy people trying to sell me ebooks about it. My blog can be found at link removed as it the website is no longer being used and displays spammy/harmful information.

Basically what I'm asking is how can I get my blog posts higher in search results? Usually when I do a test search to find my posts they are usually on the fifth page which isn't good. I tag them to the best of my ability and I think they are well written. What else do I need to do?

Well if you Google it and find lots of people trying to sell e-books about it, they obviously know what they're talking about because thats who you saw when you Googled it...

Well I'm definitely not buying someone's ebook to learn how to do it... that's just ridiculous

Regular posting is very good to listed quickly in major search engines. Always give tag in your post. Check this website - http://dex.in/ . All its elements are well organized like meta title, description, keywords and so on.
