A few days ago i uninstalled iTunes, so i also removed apple application supporter (windows) from add/remove programme's, so now i get this error whenever i open my browser, please help me get me out of this. I did google the error but i got nervous as it getting started technical, as whenever i have done these kind of this in the past with my pc, the experience has not been good.

There are probably traces left in the registry from the program, u might wanna look for someone who knows how to clean it without screwing ur PC. Not many people know how to use programs like Ccleaner correctly.

I don't know if installing again the program and uninstall it will do the trick. Since I haven't used XP in years and I don't know how will react.

Have you tried installing QuickTime again and removing it? It could just be that the uninstaller didn't work properly.
