I personally use MalwareBytes. I have done testing with virus filled computer and then installed Search and Destroy and it found like 10 of the over 250 virus on the computer. Which were then found by MalwareBytes and cleaned off. So that is why I close it.

They both have there pluses and minuses but personally i use outpost security suite its not free but highly programmable but, i do keep downloads of search and destroy and malwarebytes on my computer to see if mime misses and thing which it usually doesn't.

I haven't used 'Search and Destory' but I do use Malwarebytes, and I love it!

I used Search and Destroy when I was in high school but when I got to University I started using Malwarebytes, in my opinion is better, but it's a personal opinion. Others may go w/ Spybot Search and Destroy and it's also good.

I use both, because, since they are not running unless you need them too, you cover the holes in both more
