How to make a website?

Hi, Ive made a HTML file in iWeb. But, what should I do know? I tried to load the file up to my Mac Mini over network to try to host it, and up to a web host, but something is wrong. The HTML wont open, but works fine on the Mac I Made it o. Any ideas?
