Do you think that within the next 35 years books will make just as high sales as the do now or will they no longer be as popular due to all of the modern media that is around? Yes or no and why or why not?

I don't think they will as high as they are now but they will still be beneficial. I don't think they will as high because as you stated, today and tomorrows technology. They will be beneficial because a book doesn't require electricity to be used. In the failure of a power grid, you can still rely on good old fashioned paperback.

I think that in the future books will become a lot more popular but it wont be paperbacks it will be digital books for devices such as the Kindle or the Sony Reader.
Bonus Answer: My favourite series are Harry Potter (J.K Rowling) and the Twilight Saga (Stephanie Meyer) why? I watched the films and then decided to read the books.

I think paperback books are going to die within the next 35 years but digital e-books will become the future. Sales of paperback books are already plummeting due to e-readers so in 35 years they'll probably be dead.
