So, I see all of the hype about tablets lately, but none of them really seem to interest me. The iOS apps aren't powerful enough for me, nor the games well-developed, Android is far too fragmented, and the Windows tablets are too weak with too little battery life. On top of that, I would only use them for rare casual web-surfing, which isn't worth $300 for me. What I would really like to see is a wireless touch-screen input for my desktop or laptop PC. A small (7 or 10-inch) multi-touch display that would serve as a wireless extension of my computer while on the couch or in bed. Does such a product exist for a reasonable price? |

There is wireless input devices wacom bamboo http://www.wacom.com/productinfo/ but if you want to be remote from the computer but still be on, there is VNC tools fro iPad, android, windows 7 that will let you do that. I'd be willing to get a budget $200 Android tablet. Would that be capable of VNC-ing into my laptop/desktop until Windows 8 on ARM comes out? Sounds good. Thanks! :) |
