I have a Logitech BLUETOOTH keyboard and mouse setup that has been pretty reliable for about 3 years. My wife has gone through 2 RF wireless keyboard/mice combos in that same time period.

Her RF devices will just go nuts after a while even with fresh batteries and putting the receiver 1 inch away from the keyboard or mouse.

Is RF technology getting any better? If not, why are bluetooth keyboards and mice not overtaking the shelves at Best Buy?

Recommendations for most reliable type of RF mice/keyboards if you have had good experiences please. Aren't they all the same though?

Thanks!

I feel that it's getting better. I am currently using the Logitech Wave keyboard/mouse combo. The receiver for it is 2.4Ghz. I have it somewhere on my desk most of the time covered by crap and it still works flawlessly. I also like the fact that with the new tech they're using, my keyboard and mouse both go to sleep after a period of non-use thereby saving my batteries. I can also turn them off with a switch if I desire. There's numerous options now on keyboards as well. So if you like to board alot without much interaction with a mouse, then you're set. Hope this helps.
