Personally, I don't like it too much. The game takes forever to find a match/players (I guess not many playing the PS3 version?) as well, it's too "pretty", and not even KICKASS.

Your thoughts?

The Boss

The game is pretty much losing players, the way it is designed, makes it hard for people to join and makes it difficult for infrequent players to play because it has a system of rewarding more active players with things that give them an advantage on the battlefield.

Because of this, you end up with a system where early adopters who have played longer and have more experience will have better equipment, so as a new player, you are not only less experienced, but you also have crappy stuff compared to what the more experienced players have, then in order to get the good stuff, you are required to defeat the batter players with better equipment.

It is kinda like what killed the MMO shadowbane if you got into the game late, you were put in a situation where you would be a level 10 or so then get kicked out the noob area out into the full game world. there you will face eager level 80+ players looking for a easy target to pvp.

The end results was that new players could not level up because all opportunities to level up would put you in competition with higher level players with better stuff to a point where your DPS could not even exceed the healing abilities of them when they are standing there afk. But if they decide that you need to be destroyed, they can 1 hit kill you, so more and more people left (and making the game free didn't help much as they still continued to lose players.

this is exactly what every single COD game is like, yet they are still immensely successful. The Crysis 2 Multiplayer only from the incomplete demo has gotten incredible reviews, and there are tons of players, they're gaining players not losing any. There are a lot of bugs though, but none of the reasons you say are true. Good thing they released a demo, so they can iron out all the bugs before the final release, which is the purpose. They won't touch the gameplay a bit though because they have hit the jackpot. It feels like a mix between COD and Halo, it's awesome

I played the demo on my Xbox 360, and thought it was "meh."

I highly doubt that I will pick this game up. It doesn't really do a whole lot that sets it apart from COD, Halo, or Killzone. I don't need another generic FPS.

Now, let me get back to Pokemon: White...

Complete garbage for pc compared to crysis 1 and warhead. Crysis 2 doesn't have DX10 or DX11. It's shipping with DX9.... The graphics options are so limited, you can't change squat unless edting the config file.... they got rid of some nanosuit options like max strength Overall, Crysis 2 got totally CONSOLE PORTED. NOT WORTH $60 for PC. I wouldn't even get it for $30...

The game looks amazing, none the less, is to be expected from the amazing team behind Crysis. I think it looks amazing, I think It's going to be a big release, even though I think it was a horrible idea to expand it to consoles, I am going to buy it for the PC :)
