Would you use Internet Explorer 9 as your primary browser if it came to Mac? OR Are you going to be using/do you use it as your primary browser on Windows?
|

I don't think that IE9 will ever come to mac due to Microsoft not being able to get XP running it because of missing features that are in Vista and 7. I use IE9 second to Chrome. |

Nope, I'd still be using Safari and RockMelt. |
|
I don't use it in Windows, so why would I use it in OSX? |

A really cool feature in IE 9 is that if you head to a special URL (wont post it here) a taskbar icon will appear calling it's self something like AV8 and will ask you to buy it and wont let you launch any of your other programs unless you go though a special removal process involving some registry edits, some combofix, some malwarebytes and lots of other work. IE9 is new and it is already exploited to a point where no user interaction is required other than visiting a bad page or malicious banner ad. I usually test new browsers in a virtual machine for security by setting up a VM, updating it and installing a good virus scanner, then instlling the browser, then using the ultimate quick way to infect a PC Do a google search of (insert random expensive program) then add the word crack to the end. the first ie9 beta and even ie9 now are still vulnerable while firefox, opera, and chrome and safari will just get a popup that tries to use social engineering to trick a user into manually infecting them self (the flash exploits are still automated for firefox, safari, opera and chrome) |

Most likely not but I would definetely give it a shot! |
