I am confused with downloading linux mint. They do not have a Download mirror for canada and even if they did I would still be stuck. How can I download the torrent they have? I am on a mac by the way but have windows installed in bootcamp so it does not really matter but if I need to download something it would be best if it worked with Mac.

Do you want to run it is BootCamp or in a Virtual Machine? If Virtual I would recommend using the 32-Bit version because you won't be using all 4 GB in the Virtual one anyway. If BootCamp the you can get the 64-Bit. There is a Canada mirror by the way. If you want to download the Torrent version instead you will have chose the version that you want from the downloads below and then there is a chart/table looking thing at the top of the page from the link. You will click on where is says "Torrent" on the left side of the table and then the right column there is a "Torrent" hyper link click that. The you will chose a Torrent program like uTorrent or whatever and open that file using that program and it should download.
Torrents are legal in the manner being described above. I do not support the use of Torrents for anything. I personally don't use them. I just use the mirror downloads.
