I have an opportunity to purchase a used  8GB iPod Touch 3G.  The iPod was formerly owned by a teenager.  I'm assuming it's been jailbroken, but I could be wrong.  I have no idea what a fair price is for this device (used) and don't want to grossly overpay. What is the most you would pay?

3G as in 3G networking? or 3rd Generation because if it is a 8 gig 3rd gen, it really isn't, it's a 2nd gen 8 gig, Apple never made a 3rd gen 8 gig...

No. They changed my MB to MC. Other than that no change whatsoever.

I sold mine to a friend for $60. That was a year ago, before the 4G came out.

I was going to offer $75-$100, depending on the exterior condition. So, that may have been too high. Thank you!
