http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-20052136-2.html Do you think Chris will/should switch from Ustream to Youtube Streaming. When we use ustream, I have to screencap the chris feed that has problems with the lower (last few) line of pixels right on the bottom of the feed, and a watermark, and more. With youtube, we may be able to skip some steps and record straight to Youtube. What do you think? |

Youtube's system is fairly new. It still has to go through many stages of user testing, but once it is stable enough to move towards, certainly go for it. I think the viewer base would increase ten-fold. Viewers would only have to go to one place to see his visual content. |

If the change is for the better I think you guys should switch. |
|
It depends on what's easier for those involved. Whatever is "easiest" to make happen "at the moment" is my opinion. I know how much of a PITA it can be to make that happen. |

I think he should switch to YouTube streaming because i think that way it would be easier to record videos and also because he makes a lot of YouTube videos and he has a lot of fans there it would make more people watch the stream cause it would be in YouTube. They wouldn't have to visit another website to watch the stream. If you tell someone to watch a live stream for the first time , and you tell him to go on YouTube to watch it , he would go there easier than he would if you had tell them to go on ustream. Probably he wouldn't even know ustream while on the other hand YouTube is very popular. Everyone knows about it. So yes, he should switch. First he should start streaming on ustream AND YouTube to see how it goes and then if everything if fine , switch completely. |

That would be cool actually, since I prefer Youtube more than any other platforms. It would also be easier to upload to Youtube I believe, instead of installing then on storage then upload again. It could probably save the hard job. |

I think it would be a very good idea, I feel that more people would notice the stream. Also most of the videos get uploaded there anyway so it would be better overall. |

Well the live stream brings a lot of traffic to his website for starters and that's where the chat room is based that you see on the live stream. Second I don't think you can embed Youtube live streams which he would need to do to have the live feed along side the chat room. Third I don't think the Youtube live stream facility was made to be used 24 hours a day 7 days a week as it automatically records the video so I would imagine eventually there would be a limit. Personally I like the live feed where it is and should stay there. |
