Hello, when windows installed I clicked English Canada but it thinks my keyborad is french. Now I selected english but it keeps it on french but it says its on english. So when I try to type anything with a backslash I get a accept for this site. This sucks when trying to use the run box to navigate somewhere. Anyone know how to fix this little bug? |

I'm not sure how to explain this, you're on a mac, aren't you?
Mis read the question. Would you like me to teamviewer it? It's perfectly safe, and I know the process, just can't explain it.
Well I don't know that I'm all to comfortable with that. Can you try your best to explain the process first? What does it involve?
Actually now that Windows has restarted everything seems to be working...
Ah. that's fine then :D
There is a process to fix it, but it's very specific. It has to be done in a certain order, and I'm not sure how to describe it.
The basics are you have to set the new one as default and delete the old one, but I seem to remember their being some special step behind it.
Anyway, it's good that you've fixed it :D.
And also, just so you know for future, teamviewer is a good program to use. It's one of the most popular solutions to remote access of computers. If everything you have that is private is closed, the helper can't really see that. It's also possible to exit the program at any time by clicking a small close button that appears by the taskbar.
Despite of this, I understand it's perfectly normal to be sceptical of this sort of thing, and more so when you don't know the person.
While I assure you my intent was of nothing but to aid you in your problem, others, of course, could be more malicious in their goals.
