How much value does jailbreaking add to an ipod touch.

I am thinking of putting my ipod touch 4g 8gb on eBay i have had it for three months. it has no scratches never been out of a case etc. i want at least $200 u.s. for it. would adding something along the lines of "will jailbreak upon request" add value? if so any estimants on how much? thanks in advance!

You are not going to get $200 for it for $30 more for a brand new one. Why would anyone want to spend $200 on a used one?

On the other hand, if the phone is being purchased for use in a country that prohibits the Apple store, jailbreak is the only way to add apps to it.

That's a little sketchy because then you're voiding to warranty, and having a warranty is a good selling factor, plus jailbreaking requires no money anyway, so it would either stay the same or lower the price/put of buyers. Most people don't really care about jailbreaking, unless you only plan on selling to geeky types, but if you're a geek then you know that you can do it yourself without paying extra for it.
