I was just thinking. Do you guys/girls think that Apple should come out with an eReader.

I think that if they did, it would be great quality and it would be just a great all-aroud product. It would flow perfectly into the iBooks Store for your iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch etc. Now it can be argued that the iPad would count as one. But I think that just having a device dedicated solely to Reading, buy apple, would be good.

let me know what you think!

Ever try to read a kindle in the dark? I'd rather have an iPad thank you very much.

True that. I shouldn't have to have a book light to read an electronic device. Good point

Relay no point... the iPad works as an eReader.

Also, The Amazon ready already dominates the market with their reader and apps on mobiles.

The iPad has eReader capabilities. The iBooks app can read eBooks and PDFs.

Like the others said, the iPad doubles as an eReader, AND the iPhone does too. There's an eReading app for it.

Technically, In addition to its other capabilities, The iPad already qualifies as a eReader & having a separate eReader would just be another gadget to keep track of.

Also, Like Apples other devices, It’d be a high quality but insanely overpriced device.
