I care nothing of race, sex or past when it comes to the President out our great country as long as he was born in the United States of America. Obama has shown the press and people his official copy of his birth certificate. Claiming it is the new legal form of birth certificate and expects people are to accept that. Though it appears to be legit, as Trump explained, he can still ask for his original birth certificate from Hawaii. Some say that Obama has a right as a citizen of the United States to withhold this process. Really? Not saying the government is hiding anything but common now. Your telling me that a leader of a country can't give the people proof to set their mind at ease? You can send them off to fight and get killed overseas but you can't show them your original birth certificate? Something doesn't seem right about this. What's your opinion?

Should someone close this? Seems too argumentative to me...

Sounds good. I'm sure others would see this as too argumentative as well

This definitely should be closed. Even if the known facts and evidence are posted proving he was born here, those who say he was not will ignore them and argue otherwise claiming "conspiracies" or "cover-ups." Best to just nip things in the bud now.

@The Kingfish Right on the money. All it takes is the wrong guy to see this and all hell will break loose. I'm just surprised it hasn't been closed yet.

It doesn't matter if he can't provide one or not. One of his parents is an American citizen which makes him an American whether he was born here or in another country.

If I remember correctly the state of Hawaii will send you a copy of his birth certificate for $100.

I heard it on the news a long time ago.

Alright wow this is a very large topic right now. Especially with Donald Trump and Fox News. Here is the link to view his birth certificate. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/2008/06/13/bobirthcertificate.jpg
