FTP server?

I just set up an FTP server for file hosting and I was wondering if if was working. If you would like to test it by uploading a file, the host is 71.206.16.45 Port 21. Username: ftptest Password: ftptest. Your file will be uploaded to a public directory that other users can see. Thanks! You can upload a picture, text document, anything.

It works, but the transfer speed is very slow. I was going to tes a 1.5GB file but it will take 1 hour and 45 minutes.

That could be because I'm working off of a regular cable connection at 20Mbps down and 4Mbps up and server-grade connections are much faster.

I'm seeing people's upload speeds of 0.5MB/sec which isn't too bad.
