So I work at a store where we regularly get customers for whom we have to either reinstall windows, or we have to install windows for the first time. As a tech guy, I am constantly looking for ways in which to make the installation of windows faster. Now I do know that you can put a windows install disk onto a USB flash drive, or possibly PXE boot(AKA network boot) to a windows install disk. However, is there some way I could make a universal ghost(or clonezilla) image of windows 7, vista or XP?

That way I could simply enter the name of the computer and the user name for that computer and everything would be done with. If this is not possible, are there any other ways to do this?

You can make an image of the HD and just copy over but different Hardware on the computer, that would just not work.

The only thing I can suggest is using a OEM edition as all you have to do is put the disk in and press yes.
