I'm looking for people that can help me build a social website I only have funds for a domain name and hosting. I have little experience, and I can't pay anyone money but if you help me out and be part of a new social network I will gladly try any suggestions that you may have. If you want anything put on the site we will work together to put it on there.

Hmmm I don't think I want to join a social network where the founder is this bad at his grammar. Please fix it.

(May 01 '11 at 09:41) nitrocrime nitrocrime's gravatar image

Please try to have better grammar and spelling. I have edited this to fix the grammar and spelling mistakes however I have to agree with @nitrocrime.

who cares about the grammar in this message im not puttin this message on the site am i im just asking people a question not how to bloody spell some people are stupid

It was your idea to create the social network, you can't just ask people for ideas. You need to create plans and diagrams and show US your ideas so we can implement them.

Try using either FreeMind(Windows) or MindNode(Mac) to do what @DazOwen said. FreeMind is free and MindNode could cost you $19,99 but I find that the free version works good enough for my projects.

"who cares about the grammar in this message im not puttin this message on the site" Now I'm definitely sure that I will not be going to your social network. This message shows that you have very little respect for other people's social networks. You need to be the example and right now you're a bad one.

"who cares about the grammar in this message im not puttin this message on the site am i im just asking people a question not how to bloody spell some people are stupid"

If you are not going to show the people you are asking for help respect then will you if we start working together? I cannot work with someone that it to lazy to use the "shift key". I have removed my offer to help out for several reasons including the fact that you called me "stupid" for wanting to have proper grammar, also because you are not showing respect to others and I don't want to get into a project with a person that cannot show me any respect.

i have my own ideas but i want people like you to come up with ideas too. say i start a website with profile pages ect. an someone wants there idea on the site il try an do it i want people to be able to be a part of it like ive said i dont have much expereance so im tryin to get a bunch of people to bring all are ideas together

(May 01 '11 at 12:23) idaviie idaviie's gravatar image

well for starters i respect everyone but i dont have respect for you because i came here looking for answer not for u just came on here to say my grammer was bad lmao i dont want a 14 yo boy to spell check it pmsl

(May 01 '11 at 13:22) idaviie idaviie's gravatar image

@TheTechDude might be 14 years old but he already has earned 10,000+ karma points. I'm 17 years old and I currently have 961 karma points. You have only one karma point and I wouldn't be shocked if you were to earn no karma points at all. Age doesn't matter. Grammar and showing respect to everyone does! If you don't want people to judge you on your showing of respect and grammar than you can better find a different website because this is not the place for you.

@idaviie: You are not respecting anyone. Using proper grammar and spelling show people respect. My age has nothing to do with this, calling out my age is showing your immaturity.

@nitrocrime: You said it perfectly.

(May 01 '11 at 13:52) TheTechDude TheTechDude's gravatar image

lmao the reason he got so many karma is cause ur on this 24/7 fuk sake and how does spelling show respect it shouldnt matter how i say things if a disabled person joined this and made mistakes u would attack him for not spelling things right you should get the facts right and show respect your self lil boy

(May 01 '11 at 15:04) idaviie idaviie's gravatar image

@idaviie: There are disabled people that can still type correctly. I know several that develop computer programs for a living. The reason my karma is so high is becuase I respect the community and the people in it and don't do what you do. I am going to be the bigger person here and stop this now.

@Kevin: Thanks, didn't even know that that question existed.

"lmao the reason he got so many karma is cause ur on this 24/7 fuk sake"

So you're saying that if you were to be on Lockergnome.net 24/7 you'd have 10,000+ karma? Guess what! that is NOT going to happen.

"and how does spelling show respect it shouldnt matter how i say things"

The way that your grammar shows respect is because we don't have to fix it in order to understand you. All of this wouldn't have happened if you were to write a proper question.

"if a disabled person joined this and made mistakes u would attack him for not spelling things right"

I don't know for @TheTechDude but I know that I would. You're basically saying that all handicapped people instantly fail at proper grammar? How dare you to mention having respect for anyone! Everyone can write a proper question. If they are having trouble with it they should at least use a spell checker.

"lil boy"

And how old may you be? Don't you know that the older you are the wiser/mature you should be? Just by guessing based on this 'question' I think your about 10-12 years old. Or at least you behave like that.

Changing the world start with yourself! Learn some PUGS and respect before coming back here or any social network for that matter.

(May 01 '11 at 22:57) nitrocrime nitrocrime's gravatar image

@nitrocrime: I would do the same thing I have done here. All that I did was say that "Please try to have better grammar and spelling." The he began the saying that "Who cares..." No one else does that, so then I would have just let it go. A disabled person would appreciate the time that I took to help them and would not go on criticizing me.

Help with what exactly? The design of the site, or helping to moderate it?

also i'd look at wall.fm, its a free social network builder.

(May 01 '11 at 08:10) idaviie idaviie's gravatar image

I cant help much with coding, but i'd be happy to help design parts of it and moderate.

(May 01 '11 at 09:16) golarama golarama's gravatar image

sounds great if you come up with some ideas il be happy to have a look

(May 01 '11 at 11:40) idaviie idaviie's gravatar image

What age of people would you like the website to be aimed at? early teens? late teens? adults? if it is going to be aimed at early teens, i'll design it like bebo (Which i still use btw) late teen is more like MySpace and adult is probably more like facebook

(May 01 '11 at 14:03) golarama golarama's gravatar image

i would say a bit of both not to teenish an not to adult if you get my meaning do you have msn or anything to talk a bit more

I'd be happy to help with design/moderation. I'd like to suggest http://www.socialgo.com/ However, I am good friends with a few coders. Who might be able to help with code... Are you a developer yourself (as in, do you have coding knowledge) or is this your first time. If it is your first time in this area. Then I'd suggest looking at something like Socialgo, Ning or wall.fm

Let me know if you would like some advice, I am sure I can help you in some area of the design, build or publication process, also depending on what the website is about. I would love to hep with moderation.

I would not recommend socialgo. Has unsatisfactory creditworthiness http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/www.socialgo.com possible phishing or spam
