LCD TV vs. LED TV vs. Plasma TV?

LCD: Your basic "flat screen TV". Good enough for most people. LED: Pretty much the same as a normal LCD except it uses LEDs instead of fluorescent tubes. They have better colors and contrast and are usually lighter and thinner than LCDs. Plasma: Good color, really high refresh rate on more expensive ones, but use a lot of power, are heavy, and can get really hot.

Long story short: If you want an HDTV, the best all-around one would probably be a LED one unless you need a GIGANTIC one. Then you would want a plasma TV.

Well LCDs are usually the cheapest, Plasma has much better dark darks and white whites, and LEDs are usually more energy efficient while at the same time being really thin.

LED TV's are just LCD's with different back lighting. I'd got for Plasma as far as quality for price but really the only telling is your eyes. Pick out a TV you think looks best.
