Anybody used this ssd? I'm thinking about ordering it and wondering if its worth spending the extra money when I could just get a 60GB for $119. The space isn't my big question, it's really the speed performance. Is it worth that extra $100 bucks?

Not worth it yet!

Just get a 64GB for your OS a minimal programs.

SSDs will drop in price in the next year and get bigger.

Or get 4 HDs and RAID 1 them for the same price and 8TB is not bad at 300MBs :P

What about something like this?

540 mb/s read 450 mb/s write

Those speeds are insane.
