I was about to buy tron on dvd and thought why not but it on bluray? By doing this I would be able to play in High definition right without an official bluray player? If I do Get it on bluray should i just get it because It is high def and will last longer than a normal dvd? Note: I dont have a bluray player :( |

No, the reason they made Bluray players is so that they can play Bluray discs. You will need to get either a Bluray player or a PS3 to play Bluray movies. Bluray players can play standard DVDs but not the other way around. |

The Tron Legacy bluray should come with the DVD version of the film, unless you are buying the original Tron on Bluray. This version will have you covered unless you want the original Tron on DVD: http://www.amazon.com/Tron-Original-Classic-Five-Disc-Blu-ray/dp/B004K4N64E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1305324743&sr=8-1 |

It works the other way around. Blu-ray players will play standard DVDs. |
