Does anyone know of a safe way to remove the keys from an Apple Wireless keyboard without risking breaking the plastic clips underneath?

They're held in place the same way laptop keys are held in with a 2 part plastic clip.

You should use just your finger nail and its fine, start by one corner pull up lightly until the back of the key release from the retainer clip, then go to the other corner and do the same, it should be fine, if the worse happens, you can still purchase new laptop key retainer hinges, you can get then here, they are exactly the same as yours.

It is harder to remove the keys than other keyboards. But on the other hand I do enjoy how stable and durable the keys and the whole keyboard is.

But yes the link about 3 up from this works wonderful!!!!!
