On May 28, Lockergnome.net will be 1 year old. We have came to 17183 questions and 71431 answers so far (as of May 22, 2011) and to show how successful this site has been for us, we need to celebrate on that day! Any ideas how we can do it? |

Maybe Chris can do like a double karma day. Sort of like how double points work for Call of Duty. Say if you get up-voted instead of 15 you get 30. Or if you get your answer excepted it is 60 instead of 30. That would be a cool way to celebrate the one year anniversary. I don't think OSQA code is able to do that Actually it can be changed. I am not sure where this file is found but the owner of the site has the ability to change it. Take a look at this posts information: http://meta.osqa.net/questions/3136/karma-not-registering from the question. Chris has changed some of the stuff, it just might not be possible to edit it for a day and then change it back. I don't think Chris will have all that time to do a change for a day Ya, it was just an idea. It works in theory but in the real world it is much more difficult. |

It has been a good year here in lockergnome: a lot of questions, lots of flame wars, Spam attacks from banned users or health insurance companies, lots of comments, met a lot of nice people, heck all my questions got answered. This has been such a great community and props to Chris for making the site and putting this community together. Happy 1 year anniversary Lockergnome!

Well. It's been good. Been here a lot of the year. I feel like this is a community of which I see a lot of well know people around the site and am happy to call them helpful and friendly. (i.e. TheTechDude, Ryan Sweigert to name a few well-known people.)
