I have a LG Xenon GR500 and I forgot my phone charger at my dad's house, i really needed my phone so i went out and bought an another phone charger from LG with the same micro socket it also with the same input and output voltage. These both are LG original chargers and they both work with the phone, the only different is the model number, does it make a difference using this charger from the OEM charger? |

AS long it has the same voltage (close to 5V DC) it should be fine. Right now many cell phones are being made with the Mirco USB connector to simply a standardized port with about the same Voltage. Only the amperage may be different, but it does not have a bad effect the phone. |

i'm sure it'll be fine. as long as the input and output voltages are the same and it fits :) |

Also take a look at the Amperage. If it is different then your phone might charge slower if the Amperage is lower than the other charger or faster if it is higher. But don't take that to mean more is better. If it is too high it could do a lot more damage than if the Voltage were different. In most cases if it is from the same manufacturer (in your case LG) and has the same plug it should be fine |
