I'd recommend shakehost.com I've been with them for about 1 year now. They have got really good service.. I'm sure you could sign up either in your clients name or your own name depends on if your client gives you permission as well .. you can always sign up in your own name and transfer the account in to his name later on.

godaddy.com is a cool one... The Best Reason why you should use GoDaddy:

Great Prices
“Get hosting with unlimited storage and bandwidth on the GRID platform ensuring that your site doesn’t get overwhelmed for less than $5 a month. Add three bucks and you can host multiple domains on the same account. And that doesn’t even take into account the excellent domain pricing."

Sounds fishy for 5.00 month for unlimited storage... really there isn't a such thing it's sales tactic from what I hear .. would be great to get pc hard drive with unlimited dataspace granted I bet most stores would run out of business.. godaddy is nice domain wise ..

I used to have issues with godaddy hosting when more than 300 people where on the site at once it just used to crash. I use aventure hosting (UK firm) and godaddy for my domain and email.
