Hi, Im trying to host a small personal site at home, I tested it on a friends pc and worked through his netgear router but on my router Buffalo it goes to the router config page! How do i fix this on a buffalo router?
P.s this router wasnt cheap, it has allot of power and I really like the settings!

Firstly, I do not think hosting it on a WIFI router is a very good idea as people can find out information by looking into your connections. So I would use a modem, but if the WIFI is what you really want........

Have you tried phoning the Router's Manufacturer for Technical Support?
If you don't have that information go to their web page and look up their forums and support pages specifically designed to help you out!
That always works for me.. =D

You need to forward the ports on your router to the internal IP address of your 'web server' else all traffic to the IP will be pointed to the routers web panel by default. See the manual of your router for information on how to forward ports.
