I would say just the plain Macbook is fine.

If thats all you want it for, and cheeper is better, why not just get a cheap windows machine?

You dont NEED a macbook at all for those tasks.

Before all the apple hate comes my way, I'm a mac user (Macbook Pro) and a iOS user (iPhone and iPad) so i'm not an apple hater by any stretch)

Coming from another Apple fanboy, I have to agree with Barnsleynut.

Macbook =/= Cheap

Like @barnsleynut and @catchatyou have mentioned, a regular Windows laptop would do you more than enough justice.

Just get a Windows or Linux laptop. That would be cheap and perfect for what you want. A MacBook will do the same stuff just more expensive.

Virtual DJ and Word Processing can be done for a fraction of the $999 it's going to cost you for an entry level Macbook.

If you want a cheap one though I'd recommend going for manufacturer refurbished on Ebay.
